Our Vision:  Making Disciples to the Glory of God

The fellowship of New River Community Church is being made by Christ to boldly live out the Gospel of the Kingdom, passionately pursue unity in the Body of Christ, and sacrificially serve people in and outside His Church.  In the love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are going outside the camp – making and multiplying disciples to the glory of God.                               read more

Wasn’t it great to see Pasture Scott in the worship service on Sunday!  He’s writing again so please go to Scott’s Facebook page for a treat.

Don Madlena has asked us to please pray for the children of a family who are now living out of state who have been pulled apart by abuse.  They may be sent back to our community to live with extended family for healing and support.   Please pray that DFCS and court procedures would work for the best interests of the children according to God's will.  Also pray for the extended family in our community who will open their hearts and their home to these children.

Please pray for Jerald Hill on Friday when he undergoes extensive oral surgery. Please ask the Lord for supernatural healing of the surgery site with no complications and for the surgeon to have supernatural skill.

Please continue to pray for Adam Simpson, and his family.

Please be in prayer for our brother and good friend Sid Stansell and his wife Debby.  Sid has a blood clot in his brain. Please continue to pray for them.

Please pray for all Christians in Egypt who are being persecuted by severe attacks on their churches and even physical harm and death. Many are forced to leave their country.

Please pray for Mrs. Willie Woods, a friend of April Acklin, who is elderly and forced to live in a nursing home. She misses her home but her son thinks she will not be able to return.

Continue to pray for Graham Mitchell who is now at home with mom and dad.
