From the Spirit for the Body at Large in 2011 |

The Lord has been speaking to our household specifically that in 2011 we are to take significant steps towards buckling down financially. I don't mean to generate savings, but rather, become more frugal in our spending habits. We need to give more effort to clarifying wants vs. needs, and be less prone to invest in wants. I don't mean by this a "resolution" of sorts, but a lifestyle change that will allow us to be less at the mercy of "man" and more-free to be at the service of our Lord. Our family has "new life" due in March, this too is an indicator to us of new seasons in our household and in our family. We are tightening our belt in regards to areas of time investment as well. Carefully & prayerfully seeking the Lord's Word regarding what areas of ministry/service we are to invest in for 2011.
From the Spirit for 2011 for the Body at large, I am hearing: Increasingly difficult times in the natural realm accompanied by a supernatural peace from our Lord upon the lives of His chosen ones. I believe the Lord is saying that we need to be ever so spiritually alert to counterfeits and adulterants in teaching and doctrine. This is reinforced by the number "11" which is typically, in Scripture, found to be "one more" than God's Divine Perfection (10) or "one less" than God's Perfect Government (12) - as we are warned (Rev 22:18,19), do not add or take away from God's perfect Word. I am also prompted by the Lord that we are to increase our one-on-one investment in the lives of individuals. I believe we will see divine provision (Num. 20:11) accompanied by divine demonstrations of power (2 Kings 20:11) while being called to a peace & rest in our Lord (Exodus 20:11). I believe we will continue to see an increased "oneness" in the Church Worldwide (Judges 20:11), however, it will be better seen in the spirit and not so well seen in the natural. I sense a warning also, that we must be cautious in our zeal /self-confidence / boasting in misplaced / premature strengths (1 Kings 20:11/Job 20:11)
