OUR BELIEFS

The True God
(Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16,17; John 17:5)
We believe that there is one, and only one, true and living God. We believe that He is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, and infinitely holy. We believe that He exists eternally in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and that these three, though one, are yet three distinct persons and are equal in every divine perfection.

Jesus Christ
A. His Identity
(John 1:14)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who exists eternally with God and that He is the Savior whom God sent into the world to redeem the world and show us how to live a life that is not our own, a life fully expressed through the life and reign of the Almighty.
B. His Incarnation
(Philippians 2:7)
We believe that Jesus willingly robed Himself with humanity and dwelt among men here on this earth and that He was at the same time, both man and God.
C. His Virgin Birth
(Matt. 1:23, 25; Luke 1:31-35)
We believe that Jesus came to earth in the flesh by way of the virgin birth, born of a woman who had never been sexually intimate with man. Therefore, Jesus had no earthly father, but was conceived in the womb of this virgin by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit
(John 16:13; 2 Cor. 5:5; 1 Corinthians 12)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and not an abstract power or influence. We believe that He is sent into the world to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, and to seal the believer until the day of redemption. He is also the dispenser of spiritual gifts for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ and empowering the saints for ministry and life. We believe that all the gifts are still in operation according as He wills, even the miracle gifts of the apostolic era.

The Scriptures
(2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20, 21)
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. We believe holy men wrote it of old as the Holy Spirit of God directed them. We believe that the Bible’s primary purpose is the salvation of sinners; and that it does not merely contain the truth, but is the truth and the standard by which all other truth must be tested. The Scriptures are without error in their original manuscripts.

Man
(Gen. 1:26; Rom. 5:12)
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that he fell from his perfect state by voluntary transgression. We believe that since the first transgression, all men are born in sin and have, through inheritance, a depraved nature utterly devoid of the holiness required by the law of God. We believe that man is a sinner by nature, choice and practice, and is, therefore, under just condemnation, without defense or excuse.

The Way of Salvation
(Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 10:9; John 14:6)
We believe that the only way man can be saved from eternal ruin is by repenting of his sin and trusting Jesus Christ, God's Son, as His personal Savior and Lord. We believe that such an experience consummates the New Birth. Man is transformed or regenerated by God's love and that the works of men cannot earn this conversion. We further believe that since salvation is by God's grace alone, it is kept by the power of God alone. Once obtained this salvation cannot be lost.

The Church
A. Mystery Form (Rom. 12:4,5)
We believe that the true church is the mystical union of all born-again believers, who in their unity compose the body of Christ, with Christ Himself as its Head.
B. Local (Gal. 1:2, et al; Heb. 12:25)
We believe the local church is an assembly of baptized believers, associated by the covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel. The church observes the ordinances of Christ; is governed by His laws; and exercises the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in it by His Word.

The Future
We believe that the end of this present world will come by fire and the world to come will be eternal. We believe that in the world to come there will be two eternal places: a place of endless joy for all the people of God, who have been saved by His grace, and a place of endless punishment for all who have never been reconciled to God by the blood of Christ. These two places are known as heaven and hell.
A. Heaven (John 14:2; Philippians 3:20; Rev. 21,22)
We believe Heaven will be a place of beauty and bliss, where dwells righteousness and where God will reside with His people forever.
B. Hell (Matt.13:38-42; Luke 16:23; Rev 20:14, 15)
We believe Hell is a place of ceaseless physical, emotional and spiritual torment, worsened by the soul’s eternal separation from God.

satan

(Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:11-19, Luke 10:18)
We believe in the personality of Satan. We believe he is not merely an abstract power or influence, but a living, personal being. We believe that he is the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air; that he is constantly prowling the earth seeking to frustrate the will and work of God. Satan does not possess the attributes of God.

The Christian Walk

(Rom. 12:1,2; Eph. 4:1; 1 Pet. 1:15; 2:21)
We believe that a person, once he has truly embraced Christ as Savior, is a new creation in Christ and that he should live a holy, consecrated life. We believe that he should set himself apart from sin in obedience to the command of God

Judgment
We believe that everyone, saved or unsaved, shall face God in judgment, according to the Scriptures. They shall be rewarded or they shall suffer loss according as their works shall be.

A. Judgment of Christians
(The Judgment Seat of Christ, 1 Cor. 3:13; 2 Cor. 5:10)
Christians shall at this time be judged according to their works from the time they have received Christ as their Savior until the time they stand before Him in judgment. They shall be rewarded or they shall suffer loss according as their works shall merit.

B. Judgment of the Unsaved (The Great White Throne Judgment, Rev. 20:11-15)
All unbelievers shall at this time be judged according to their works and cast into the lake of fire to suffer forever according as their works shall merit.
