LIFEgroups
Were About LIFE:
New River Community Church is a congregation that is organized more like the 1st Century Church then the 21st Century Church. We are made up of individual cell units or LIFEgroups that meet on a weekly basis in the homes of its members. LIFEgroups are the basic building blocks at New River, similar to cells in the body. these small groups gatherings, ideally ranging from eight to fifteen members, are designed to facilitate community, personal growth and bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Within these LIFEgroups our members participate in fellowship, worship of God, learning to be a follower of Jesus, prayer and learning how to discuss their beliefs with others. These LIFEgroups also gather together for corporate worship, preaching of the word, testimonies and prayer each Sunday afternoon at 2pm. although there are only two "formal" meeting times each week, LIFEgroup members are integrally involved with each other throughout the week and frequently are involved with fellowship and ministry at other times. In other words, LIFEgroups are basically family units that care for one another. This is true community. For more information about the New River LIFEgroup ministry contact Jerald Hill at 404-444-7623 or Jerald@newrivercc.com.
