There is only one “note”:
I asked Brother Dan if he were to sum up his message what would it
be. He said, “It’s ALL Him.”
The following is an attempt to amplify the “note”:
“There is one body and one
Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one
Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who
is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians
4:4-6 (emphasis added)
God wants none of me –
but all Him. I have no plans, no hopes and dreams of mine – only His. Jesus Christ came
to save me from myself. All my suffering is God getting me out of me.
The Lord wants a bride submitted
to Him. See Ephesians 5:22-24 (emphasis added)
As long as I still have rights – I don’t have God. “Only conduct
yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I
come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing
firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the
faith of the gospel; in no way alarmed by
your opponents—which is a sign of destruction for them, but of
salvation for you, and that too,
from God. (Philippians 1:27-28) (emphasis added)
“While Joshua was there near Jericho: He looked up and
saw right in front of him a man standing, holding his drawn sword. Joshua
stepped up to him and said, “Whose side are
you on—ours or our enemies’?” He said, “Neither. I’m commander of God’s army.” (Joshua 5.14)
(emphasis added)
“Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.” (Phil
2:12) He wants the me worked
out of me!
Work out what? My own
death!
“Every one that is
of the Truth hears My Voice.” (John 18:37) (emphasis
added) “…is of the Truth”, that is to say, Every one whose life and words
are from, and a result of, living out of the Truth.
The purpose of our salvation is to set us free from ourselves. If you
think you’re OK – you are OK … with you and without
Him.
