Some are trying to figure out how they
will survive during this economic crisis.
Others know that they are smart enough to
deal with anything so they don’t worry.
Then the people of the Kingdom of God
have a sense of urgency. Why?
READ 1 John 2:17 – The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but
the one who does the will of God lives forever.
READ Ps. 2:12 – Do homage to (Kiss) the Son, that He not become
angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled. How
blessed are all who take refuge in Him.
The People of God are Violent against:
The
power of darkness and anything that exalts itself
The
seductiveness of the enemy
The
common pleasures of the world
We must be fervently against our loved
ones entering hell. We need an overwhelming burden for the lost, especially our
families.
There is a class of people who think they
can just slide into the Kingdom without Jesus reigning over them.
What
happens to those who choose to reject the Kingdom?
In
Luke 19:27 Jesus says, “But
these enemies of mine, who did not want me
to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.”
Biblical Salvation is seen as a race to
win. See Philippians 2:12.
We must fight so we will finish
that we might keep. See 2 Timothy 4:7 – 8.
In the end, the question everyone will
have to answer is, “What did I do with Jesus?”
Four imperatives for a life in
Christ:
1. Come Out! See Revelation 18:4 and 2
Cor. 6:17.
2. Cut it off!
3. Come Away! See Song of Songs 2:10.
4. Cry Out! See Isaiah 46: 6, 9-10.
Let Romans 10:14 – 15 be our
mandate. Preach the Word!
